Michael A. Rome
Michael Rome was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1980 and the Georgia Bar in 1984. He is a member of the Cobb County Bar Association, the Real Property Section of the Georgia Bar, and the Gold Coast & Georgia chapters of the Community Association Institute. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for Northern District of Georgia and the Georgia Supreme Court.
Mr. Rome graduated with a B.S. from the University of South Florida in 1977, along with being a member of Phi Kappa Phi, and graduated in 1980 with a J.D. from the Florida State University College of Law.
Michael Rome was the originator in Georgia of the deferred payment of attorney fees program in 1998, and was founder of the former Marietta Council of Homeowner Associations. He has authored numerous articles, including “Why Some Purchasers Don’t Know They Bought Into A Mandatory Association.” Georgia Commons Magazine.
His firm currently represents over 350 community associations, and his areas of practice are Homeowner Association Law; Condominium Association Law; Homeowner Association Collections; and Condominium Association Collections.
